As a Cyber Security Consultant, my experience is very broad. My deepest skills are acting as a consultant to help my customers understand their security profiles and help them mitigate their risks. Whether translating regulatory documents into a corporate security policy or helping define and configure the controls needed to enforce the policy, consulting requires wearing many different hats.I absolutely love doing vulnerability assessments and helping my clients choose their best options for their security needs. Low level experience includes configuring firewalls, intrusion prevention/detection systems and log management systems. Scripting of various tools and documenting procedures for my clients is also a very strong area.A Software Engineering and Penetration Testing background gives me an understanding of security layers that many may not have. My code has been through the gauntlet of review, functional testing, system testing, performance testing and security testing before going to production.
