I joined C W Stirling & Co. in 1982 and am currently responsible for the firm’s Audit, Tax and accounting divisionI am a registered tax agent and a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia. I have gained substantial experience in the profession in the audit, business services and taxation area and can provide valuable advice on latest planning and development issues to clients. I am actively involved in the audit and taxation matters of large companies in both service and manufacturing industries. I believe that accountants should take proactive role in helping to grow their client’s business, rather than simply being reactive and managing tax and compliance issue alone. I have particular expertise in the financial industry and not for profit sector and have provided various institutional bodies with specialist advice.I am a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has been involved with various discussion groups on tax and accounting issues. I have prepared and delivered a number of discussion papers for the Institute of Chartered Accountants. I am responsible for the firm’s quality control manual and tax manuals.I take a keen interest in the development of my clients and provides sound and commercial advice on a wide range of issues.
