My goal is to affect change academically, athletically, emotionally and socially within my community. I want to address the specific needs of the African American community – and young Black males in particular. I want to help "build" the next generation of productive, involved citizens that will one day lead our communities. To me, education in its purest form means that reading, writing, and mathematics are taught at a level that insures an individual can function as a responsible citizen in society. Our kids need to be taught self-discipline, respect for authority, emotional "toughness" and empathy...characteristics that a lot of kids lack today. I can help do that. The next generation should feel empowered to solve it’s own problems. I will practice and preach self-discipline, personal accountability, leadership and community service and help raise a generation of “do’ers” who are concerned about their fellow man and the overall wellness of their community.

The youth in my community need to be taught self-discipline, respect for authority, emotional "toughness", and empathy...characteristics that a lot of kids lack today. I want to help create an environment where the next generation feels empowered to solve it’s own problems. If we teach and practice, self-discipline, personal accountability, leadership and community service from a young age, we’ll raise a generation of “do’ers” who are concerned about their fellow man and the overall wellness of their community.
