Building world class Customer Development centered on tailored customer, shopper and category insights

Joining Sara Lee as it entered a period of significant change, I created a clear sales strategy, built the local team and used category insights as a differentiator for customer influence. Building local capabilities in strategic revenue management created significant business growth and profitability. Working with the executive team, we prepared and transitioned the business for a successful sale to Unilever and P&G.

Responsible for Channel development initiatives across Kraft International markets, with specific responsiblity for Value Retail, I created the Discount strategy including analysis of 'wanted complexity', and analysed the impulse opportunity for Kraft in emerging markets, which led to a value-engineering initiative across Asia. Latterly I worked in Switzerland, with unique responsibility for sales input to the project to create a European Principal Company, based on my extensive commercial experience and global network.

Responsible for out of home strategy and execution across 10 European markets, including Global customers. I developed a sales strategy for growth across Europe, and a prioritised Global customer roadmap. Success was achieved by a hands-on approach locally, combined with senior customer influence including Compass, McDonalds

I was promoted to become a Private Banking Manager, with unique responsiblity for a portfolio of clients and their £m's of investments.
