I negotiate contracts, resolve business issues, create and execute hedging strategies to protect business assets and results, negotiate and arrange financing for corporate growth and development, and advise colleagues and partners on financial risk scenarios and the alternatives to address them. I have been part of due diligence teams during M&A transactions (both domestically and internationally), divestitures, and helped negotiating credit facilities from a few million to half a billion Dollars. I do it successfully by developing professional relationships with internal and external collaborators who have the knowledge and experience required to help me accomplish the goals. I research the issues, analyze the facts, request advice from experts, listen more than I talk, explore alternatives and make decisions based on the best estimated outcomes for all involved parties.I have been on expatriate assignments in Europe and South America, and I can seamlessly navigate across departments, industries, geographies, cultures, languages (English/Portuguese/Spanish), and connect with the appropriate decision makers in order to achieve the desired results. I share my knowledge and experience with my team and ensure that the relevance of tasks is always understood.
