I have forty years of field research project organization and fund-raising in SE Asia, Western Canada including National Geographic and Canadian Geographic grants to Laos and the Yukon Territories. Much of this work has involved scientific exploration and mapping under difficult conditions, either underground or underwater.Specialties: Trained surveyor specializing in reconnaissance GPS surveys and detailed surveys w/ reflectorless total stations. Recently I have produced some small scale drone and satellite photogrammetry in BC and Namibia. Generally the products are publication-grade maps of foreshore maritime and terrestrial archaeology sites. I have also assisted mapping of some of the largest caves in the world in Laos and Borneo.
