He has worked in many areas of NZ telecommunications at Telecom/Spark, most recently as Head of Delivery – managing over $400M worth of projects through a team of Programme and Project Managers both internally and externally.Project Management John has considerable “make it happen” experience, first in launching commercial radio stations and a Cable TV station in the UK and through various projects here in New Zealand .In his last contract he helped team move from traditional delivery into Agile, taking on role of Product Owner and Scrum master. Management & OrganisationalJohn has a background of management and direction of a wide range of staff; including their recruitment and termination, motivation, development and appraisal. John has devised and implemented restructuring for a number of clients.Business Development & Marketing He has broad experience in these areas including development of competitive and global strategies, product development, segmentation and promotion. Negotiation/Sales John’s experience in managing sales staff covers different environments including a Direct Sales Force, an advertising sales force, telemarketing and customer service teams.
