Appointed to lead SSgA's move into the Asset Gatherer market with responsibility for the strategy, infrastucture and implementation. This involved building a broad understanding of SSgA's core capabilities and that of its associated companies such as State Street Trustee, State Street Investor Services and IFDS. With this knowledge I then identified what could form an attractive proposition in the Asset Gatherer market. The strategy was approved by the UK board in 2007. One area of success was with a DC platform where SSgA were appointed as passive manager of choice, resulting in asset flows of £60m per month by the end of 2008.
