ARMC is a 456 bed First Choice hospital overseen by The County of San Bernardino. I am responsible for Physical Plant Operations. I am the team leader of 5 Hospital Plant Operators and 5 Building Plant Operators. Together we manage and maintain the 24/7 Plant Operations. I report directly to the Facilities Building, Security, and Biomed Manager. We have prepared for and passed a Joint Commission Accreditation Survey. I research and approve outside vendors through the County's (RFP) Request for Proposal process. I prepare items to go before the Board of Supervisors for approval. I prepare Capital Improvement Projects to keep up with the future and present needs of a growing hospital. I am responsible to keep the Plant current on all regulatory requirements as required by local, state, and federal guidelines. I provide annual Work Performance Evaluations for my Operators. I make myself available 24/7 by phone if any situation occurs that needs my direction. I believe we are all equal, we just have different roles and together as a team we can achieve greatness.
