I formed Installation Management Services to help companies improve their installation performance results. My primary focus is on electrical installations. I see a lot of integrators and controls houses that would like to self-perform their important electrical installations to give them better control over quality and schedule. This greatly improves their success on those big jobs for their key clients where using an experienced subcontractor is expensive and finding a local contractor is risky. Bringing this capability in house is often cost prohibitive because the need only arises once or twice a year. I can fill that need on a per project basis making it a preferred choice for improved success.

Total project responsibility for customers such as FedEx Ground, UPS and DHL. Schedule and coordinate engineering efforts, manufacturing, vendor buyouts and installation. Budget responsibilities include approving expenditures, tracking cost, forecasting cost and reporting to senior management.

Installation Solutions, Inc was a $12 mil a year specialty contractor established in 2000 by me and 3 other former executives of The Buschman Company. We offered both mechanical and electrical installation services for all types of material handling conveyor systems. Our client list included HK Systems, Intelligrated, Siemens, Rapistan Demag, MHS, W&H Systems and Peach State Engineering. We installed systems for end users such as FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, Big Lots, NIKE, GAP and Staples. Our project size ranged from $400 k to $3 mil with the average electrical project being $1.4 mil. As president I had a wide array of management responsibilities plus total operational responsibility for all electrical installations.

The Buschman Company was a $125 million company specializing in the design and manufacturing of high speed material handling systems with a primary focus in the soft goods industry. I was responsible for major system installations in warehouse distribution centers for customers such as Dollar General, Sears, Meijers and Consolidated Sales Company.
