Weapons And Combat Skills Instructor
CurrentResponsible for delivering dynamic weapons and Combat Skills instruction for small arms and crew served weapons training and qualification standards for the Expeditionary Combat Skills Course under the CENSECFOR, Center for Security Forces Command of the US Navy. Instruct intermediate shooter mechanics, shooting on the move, use of barricades and cover, and practical application as individual skills to accession level shooters through more advanced unit level training skill sets in both a synthetic and live fire environment. Serve as a line coach and facilitator for small arms classroom and range training evolutions. Develop & Maintain schedule of events for NECC training exercise including HSTC events. Liaison with appropriate Naval Facilities (NAVFAC) personnel for continuity to ensure facility maintenance is scheduled and all areas are environmentally approved for use. Plan, coordinate and de-conflict short and long range training/maintenance schedules and maintain the training calendar. Track the status of recurring reports and all administrative paperwork/correspondence. Support DOD/DON/ NECC coordination of training requirements on all training complex facilities, equipment and training aids and devices relative to training schedules and the scheduling of the HSTC and all weapons ranges. Specific tasks include analysis of Government provided information with emphasis on enemy Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) to prepare and/or recommend curriculum changes, plan and prepare task scenarios in concert with NECC guidance
