In a nutshell - "The small things matter".In the not too distant past I spent over a decade with what started out as a small real-estate startup managing IT and developing internal software tools that were a cornerstone of the company. As of late I'm am once again a full time developer. My skills center around LAMP stack development. I'm capable of UI design and styling on the top of the stack, designing database schema and REST APIs on the backend. I've been known to resurrect my C/C++ skills now and then to do some lower level work. I'm not uncomfortable managing and securing forward facing servers, though the majority of my work these days in JavaScript and PHP.I'm open to employment starting 2016. I would prefer to remain in the security field, but am open to others if an interesting opportunity arises. My preference is to build out a development team, but if you have a team that might benefit for more process and a few more metrics, then there could be a fit. I'm also open to a devops role or even a QA role if other elements align.I very much injoy the outdoors. I'm generaly willing to relocate, being close to a sailing community or mountains is a plus.
