Significant Accomplishments Include:• Created an accounting department from scratch when the accounting manager and assistant were let go, just after my arrival.• Created accounting policies and procedures and controls where none had previously existed.• Applied for and received PPP funds related to the CARES Act. Also prepared documentation allowing forgiveness of all funds received.• Worked with CFO to prepare financial statements for review by, and discussion with, such Angel Investors as Laurene Powell Jobs and Jeff Bezos.Core Responsibilities Include:• Supervise three staff including assistant controller, cost accountant and corporate systems manager.• Responsible for all aspects of corporate accounting, including A/P. Responsible for all aspects of the finance and accounting group at this telecommunications provider, specializing in maintenance, implementation, and consulting services for companies in need of enterprise level audio and video hardware and SaaS solutions. Significant accomplishments include:• Assumed responsibilities of finance director and cleaned up general ledger and financial statements, including preparing and publishing six months of delinquent financial statements within three months of my arrival.• Started with a two-person finance team and increased responsibilities to lead a 10-person team.• Finance lead in an enterprise-wide resource planning implementation. The implementation had stalled for approximately six years prior to my arrival and was completed within one year of my tenure.• Established sales tax reporting requirements for Canadian sales.• Assisted IT personnel in developing financial metrics and internal financial reporting tools for senior management. These tools were non-existent prior to my arrival.

Significant accomplishments include:• Serve on the Company’s board of directors.• Led an enterprise-wide resource planning system selection and implementation on time and on budget• Responsible for obtaining significant state sales tax refunds relating to purchases of materials and supplies on which sales tax had previously been incorrectly remitted.• Assisted in significant renegotiation of debt to allow the company to survive in a very competitive industry during challenging economic times• Developed relational database used to compile and maintain product bills of material and labor costs. This database has been instrumental in allowing marketing to make accurate pricing decisions.• Created custom sales, order backlog, financial and other reports from system data, and provided reports using SQL queries
