I excel in the three complementary areas of change management, technical and content writing, and teaching. I invite you to contact me if you would like to learn more about my experience and skills.Within my work as a Strategic Change Administrator, I lead change management efforts for the corporation. Our major change management efforts began with the implementation of a new ERP and also include the company-wide transition to Microsoft Teams and department-level projects such as transmission asset management and safety culture. At the current time, I am leading Sunflower's implementation of organizational change management across the corporation.In addition to my change management responsibilities, I apply business and process analysis skills for almost every area of Sunflower. These skills include providing detailed analyses of cross-functional processes, assisting with defining business and functional requirements, and providing documentation. Through my work as a freelance writer, I fulfill my great passion for translating difficult-to-understand topics into interesting and easy-to-read materials. My freelance work includes blog, articles, white papers, info-graphics, case studies, and video scripts for Fortune 500 corporations and leading publishers. Within my work as a content and technical writer, I write about different aspects of the IoT, predictive analytics, connected technologies, sustainability, printed circuit board design, electronic components and systems, and industrial technologies. Along with those activities, I teach virtual undergraduate- and graduate-level political science courses for Fort Hays State University. My courses include the politics of polarization, voting trends, politics of the environment, and American foreign policy. During 2017, I received FHSU's Adjunct Faculty Member of the Year Award.My educational background includes a Master of Science Degree in Political Science with an emphasis on Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. I have an extensive background in electronics theory and an Associate Degree in Electronics from DeVry and a degree from the Capitol Engineering Institute. I have also completed the Prosci's Change Practitioner certification, Experienced Practitioner, Train-the-Trainer I and II, Agile Change Management, and Advanced Deployment Lead certification programs . I am currently enrolled in Prosci's Advanced Instructor program.. I received my Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification during 2020.
