• Awarded this contract based on a previous contract at Springfield Wire.• Results: Instrumental in helping the company upgrade to ISO 9001:2000, followed by a three-year certification to the 2000 standard.• Set up basic Lotus Notes databases, primarily using Notes objects with some use of the formula language. Also did some basic troubleshooting of some of the existing, more complicated databases. • Results: Instead of calling in the vendor’s senior Lotus Notes designers for simple databases and corrections, this arrangement reduced the cost and response time for these kinds of setups and corrections.

Southington, Ct

• Led publications team in researching, writing, and editing content and support documentation for client intranet site. This included procedures for configuration management software.• Produced field troubleshooting manual using HoytgramTM diagrams, a unique logic diagramming method and layout.• Helped develop a refinement of the HoytgramTM to allow loops.

Bloomfield, Ct

• Used the Installation Tool on a simulator to learn the functions for the closed loop door operator, then wrote the procedures for using the functions. Procedures are in an Information Mapping template I designed. • Used the Installation Tool on the simulator to validate the user guide and help validate the tool functions.• Engineer custodian for the document very pleased with the result.
