Responsible for leading a team of technicians on shift to achieve KPI Targets of a fully automated manufacturing line. Responsible for setting work tasks and PM’s on Pemac (CMMS) and documenting and approving the work orders are completed and compliant. Document machine performance and present data to management and senior management on machine performance and to justify project work based on Data. Work closely with EHS on conducting RAMS assessments on new machinery, processes and contractor work. Spare part inventory and stock levels monitoring carried out daily to ensure equipment uptime.

Responsible for adhering to GMP procedures and in compliance with regulations, to maintain packaging equipment for a Medical device manufacturing company. This involves carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance, machine upgrades and setups to a high volume packaging production line. Updating of Device History, Pemac, unplanned maintenance, calibration, and validation records in accordance with GMP and Quality regulations. Production line includes Niverplast and Senzani Case Erectors, Sealers, Case Fillers,Packaging Labelers, Palletizers and Collimatic Form Fill Seal machines with Fanuc and Elau Robots.

Responsible for the ongoing productivity and maintenance of a high volume manufacturing equipment cell. Organised a team of technicians and operators to maximise the throughput and yield of the equipment to meet and exceed the company requirements. Implemented successful process improvement plans and projects. Worked with various vendors on machine installs and for system upgrades. Responsibilities regarding the validation of new product introductions throught the IQ, OQ and PQ validation stages.

Following the Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that machines were safe and maintained to the correct guidelines.
