My principle work has been in devising advanced battle management algorithms. I perform concept-to-test development of algorithms and objective implementations using that functionality.Developed advanced decision-making algorithms in a non-homogenous command & control defense environment. Algorithms are integrated and tested in various simulation environments, providing active feedback to the simulation model. Expertise in both real-time and batch simulation environments.Devised modular software tool "Vapor" for performing multiple sensor integration, filtering, and prioritization for mobile fire control systems.Wrote proposals for several Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) projects, with particular emphasis on central / distributed control architectures, unmanned aerial vehicles, and multi-sensor synthesis and image processing.Performed IV&V on tactical kill vehicle software code on the RKV program. Served as software test lead for the RKV program office. Devised integrated IV&V methodology based on IEEE 1012 standard.

I worked for the On-board Battle Management Independent Research and Development (OBM IRAD) group from 2006 to 2008, designing new systems and algorithms for missile defense. From 2008 to present, I have been a systems engineer and performance analyst for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) project, fire control segment.Since joining THAAD, I have become a subject matter expert and a team lead, supervising a small group of analysts. My team conducts analytical tasks meant to diagnose and disposition hardware and software in a systems integration aspect.

I was a co-op student at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, working with the cooperative education program. I was contracted out to SAIC at the Software Engineering Directorate, where I performed programming and systems analysis for a series of electronic and electro-optical test equipment for the US Army.During my first work semester with the group, I was assigned to re-work a project intended to transfer the embedded test equipment code to a new platform. This involved using a modified front-end that would allow legacy code written on the SPARC architecture to work on an x86 platform without having to modify the existing codebase. This permitted over 100K lines of existing code to be migrated to the new architecture without needing to rewrite it.By the time I returned for my second work semester, this was worked into a new contract with the US Army, expanding SAIC business.
