I manage the assignments of Foreign Service personnel to positions in the Bureau of African Affairs and other regional bureaus as needed. I counsel employees and represent the U.S. Department of State in the assignments process.

I will be returning as a part-time adviser at the U.S. Department of State in early 2017. I am concurrently available for consulting and other advisory roles.

I teach all of the courses covering the business aspects of the music industry at the University of Memphis's Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music. These courses include curriculum in entrepreneurship in commercial music, copyright, management, the touring industry, international music business and others.

I was responsible for securing representation agreements with record labels and music publishing companies for LicenseMusic's online platform for licensing copyrights for use in motion pictures, video games, television, advertising, etc.

Responsible for business operations of the notorious Seattle label. Created label's operating budgets and supervised A&R, retail, and administrative departments. Instrumental in signing The Jesus and Mary Chain to Sub Pop.

Lead a team responsible for tracking recording expenditures, issuing purchase oders to studios and other vendors, and ensuring payment to union musicians.

Responsible for recording contract negotiation and administration, oversight of recording budgets, and financial analyis.
