This experience equipped me with practical skills, fostering independence in a laboratory environment, and enhancing my critical thinking abilities.My work at AIF, led by Dr. Nina Balke, involves researching the electric double layer interaction between electrolyte and electrode, utilizing the Cypher AFM and writing Python code to process AFM readings into tangible data, such as force-distance curves. As an NCSU REU participant, I've undertaken an individual research project, further demonstrating my ability to innovate and contribute independently.My education has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of semiconductor materials, device fabrication, and power systems.
