I have always had an interest in problem solving and working in a highly dynamic environment. I was lucky enough to have found the world of finance in college as it's the perfect blend of both my interests, creating solutions to probably the most universal problem (creating value) while simultaneously working in a rapidly evolving environment. My current role working in a treasury desk interested me by being a hub where I can get experience working with all parts of the bank, from the different investment desks to the risk team. From analyzing and hedging for the possible interest rate or FX risks the bank could face, to assessing the most efficient source of funding, the role has blessed me with a dynamic environment that has and continues to help develop skills in research, communication, collaboration, fast paced problem solving, and most of all managing workloads to ensure deliverables are met on time.
