Manage a team of 10 operations engineers, 2 safety advisors, cost engineer and drilling technician on a high performing team working in South America. Designing wells and putting together work programs and schedules for deep vertical wells of 6,000m (~20,000’) TVD that are Ultra HP/HT.Also involved in managing our NOJV wells with Repsol in the foothills of the Tarija Basin, in which foothill drilling is in the top 10% of most challenging wells in the world. These wells are deep (5000-6000m TVD) which have many problems with hard rock drilling and over pressured zones. We have driven performance in this area to decrease the days on location and continue improving with the ongoing wells at hand by using state of the art technology. We have cut the costs on the AFEs from $72MM down to $60MM and from 300 down to 225 dry hole days.Other activities within the group include various rig-less campaigns throughout the year and work overs to increase the production in the field. Also involved in the planning and setting up of a new exploration field Huacareta, in which no offset data is available and extremely rugged terrain and remote locations.

Started my oilfield career in a small town in Oklahoma (Lone Grove) as an oilfield pumper working on depleted oil stripper wells. In this role I was in charge of monitoring the production on a daily basis and reporting this to the HQ in Ada, OK. I was also in charge on managing the water injection wells and the water injection pump/station, as well as stripping the wellheads down and converting them to modern day standards for the industry. Worked my way up to Production Supervisor after 1 year and finished my work in this position prior to departing for University. Production Supervisor roles included managing personnel in the field on various projects and ensuring compliance with the local regulations for shallow stripper gas wells, also managed all of the water trucks and oil tankers/pipe line work within the field (involved a team of 8 people). I also worked on workover rig within the field that was pulling downhole pumps for replacement or repair and conducting shallow workovers into uphole potential reservoirs.
