During my 29 year career I have progressed from application development to Project Management, the last 20 years dedicated to Programme/Project Management. I have gained extensive knowledge of Project Management methodologies, standards, the Project Management framework, tools and a full understanding of the Project Life Cycle, mostly within a Project Management Office environment.For the last 7 years I've been managing Online & Mobile Banking-related projects and have gained valuable expertize in this space. In 2008, I had a 7 month contract in South Africa, which was a great opportunity to enhance my Programme Management skills and to gain valuable global and international experience. I've also worked for a vendor, which was a great opportunity to familiarize myself with the dynamics of working on behalf of a vendor and not the client, as was the case with the majority of my assignments.I have successfully managed multi-million dollar projects, involving huge project teams and third party vendors in North America, Europe and South Africa. I have also successfully managed multiple projects concurrently. A $5 million project I managed resulted in an annual savings of $6.5million to the company.
