Started with Highway Products as a welder building boxes, Flat Beds, and Highwayman Tow bodies.Worked in the Fabrication department running the Finn Punch press, Shear, and Press Brakes. Eventually took over as the Fabrication Department lead.Job duties included scheduling jobs for each machine, tooling the punch press, working with the Engineering Dept. developing new products, verifying parts were made to standard, and trouble shooting and solving issues that arose in the dept with machines, personnel, and products.In 2004 I moved into the Engineering office and started learning AutoCAD and Solid Works.After a couple of months of training I was put in charge of the Engineering Dept.Job duties included learning and help setting up our MRP system, creating new file structures for the different products we design.Working with sales to design custom products per customer specifications.Creating Part numbers, advanced B.O.M's, and product routing thru the factory for standard and custom jobs.

Mill wright. Mostly in the fabrication area. I work some with Hydraulics and Electrical.During my employment the company purchased an older mill set up from Weyerhaeuser timber products.I was part of the team that tore it down, moved it to the new location and then rebuilt it to fit our needs.In the process I was able to operate a Lorraine crane, A Caterpillar 966D front end loader, and different size and styles of forklifts.
