Winner of 2016, 2017, and 2018 Best of Houzz Service Awards!I've been landscaping since 1999, when I started doing it as a summer job for Schneider and Sons Landscaping in Cecil, Wisconsin. (Previously, I had applied to other companies several times only to get laughed away when I showed up for an interview weighing barely 100 pounds.) I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Horticulture in 2002. I've been working for landscapers in the Twin Cities since 2001. In 2006, I decided it was time to go out on my own and started Stadelman Landscaping. Thanks to our customers, my company continued to grow and prosper despite the state of the economy. In the six years that I operated the business we completed over $2.5 million in landscape installations. In the spring of 2012, I was presented with an opportunity to join one of the most respected Green Industry companies in the Twin Cities. While closing my business was not an easy decision, the change has allowed me to continue doing what I love while placing my family first. I have a passion for providing exceptional service and enjoy learning about innovative ways companies inspire their employees and wow their clients. I am certified by the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association, the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute, and many of the product manufacturers.I will always continue to strive toward providing customers with unique solutions to their landscaping problems by trying to learn new ways to do things and differentiate my projects through reading, observing other designers, and attending educational events. Specialties: While I complete a wide range of projects, my favorite type is a project that we incorporate hardscapes and plantings to recreate a natural environment, such as an outdoor patio area with planted spaces surrounded to help create the desired intimacy and accent the architectural components of the space.
