Helped oversee good governance and democracy promotion initiatives in Cambodia, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Timor-Leste. Assisted with developing long-range and annual plans for country programs, identified potential partner organizations, helped coordinate the logistics of two election observation missions in Mongolia and Bangladesh, and created training strategies while targeting new sources of funding. Also, contributed to concept papers and proposals that were submitted to the Department of State and the National Endowment for Democracy, so that IRI was competitive with other nonprofit organizations.
