Current• Targeted and executed recaptures of profitable YRT business. Executed three major transactions with external counterparties over the past year, resulting in savings of $40MM, $14MM, and $64MM, respectively.• Designed and developed an automated reporting tool that allows users to analyze the profitability of YRT and coinsurance agreements by entering data in a few fields.• Managed, analyzed, and reported on approximately 350 traditional YRT and coinsurance treaties across fifteen counterparties.• Managed and developed reporting for three major Fin Re transactions, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Settlement Statements, Pro Forma statements, and invested account balances in segregated portfolios.• Developed treaty management and evaluation database that saved $46MM in a single transaction. This database contains all TAI data, cession information, ledger data and qualitative treaty information.• Solved operational problems for reinsurance, including treaty disputes, third party negotiations, old treaty dissolution, various amendments, and systemic issues with existing policies.• Provided support for new transactions that provide surplus relief and risk mitigation for Life businesses.• Functioned as subject matter expert for all finance and reinsurance systems within Reinsurance and cross-department.
