In my career at SISC, I've grown the program from a small regional pool to a statewide coalition of 470 school districts covering over 400,000 members with an annual budget of $4 Billion. I am responsible for implementing initiatives that promote access to high quality and appropriate health care, keeping health benefits affordable and maintaining fiscal stability. I have presented to several healthcare purchaser groups around the country including PBGH, the Colorado Business Group on Health, the Healthcare Purchaser Alliance of Maine and the Houston Business Coalition on Health. I am a long time California Health Care Coalition board member. I also represented purchasers on the California Healthcare Performance Information System Board and the California PBM Reporting Task Force. I recently had the honor of being invited by the White House to discuss the value transparency would bring to the PBM industry.
