Stevens Strategy is a full-service consulting firm specializing in managing the process of strategic change in colleges, universities and schools. We offer professional services to the leaders of these institutions in the areas of Strategic Planning, Strategic Governance, Focused Strategic Analysis, Financial Analysis and Planning and Institution-wide Policy Development. Our consultants have extensive experience serving colleges, universities and schools—including positions as present and former trustees, presidents, faculty, vice presidents and other senior staff—each with a particular area of expertise in college, university and school leadership and management. Our clients include independent and public institutions from the largest universities to the smallest colleges and schools in America and the world.

Served as interim President on a pro bono basis. Responsible for leading the college community through a process to better understand and participate in its governance structure, overseeing the completion of the search for a new president and academic vice president, facilitating a process for the complete revision of the college’s faculty handbook and beginning a strategic planning process timed so that the new president, could prepare the strategic agenda shortly after his arrival. During this year, the college generated a substantial surplus, doubled its total giving and received re-accreditation from NEASC. The college achieved record enrollments in the subsequent fall. New England College is my major charitable endeavor. This service was provided while continuing my role as President of Stevens Strategy

Chief Operating Officer of the firm and head of the Strategy Consulting Practice. Responsible for assignments in strategic planning, academic planning and program evaluation, institutional organization and governance, process redesign, budgeting, financial planning, information system selection and implementation, enrollment management, student services, collective bargaining and executive search. Also served as Senior Associate, Principal and Vice President.

Responsible for the leadership, management and development of a corporation devoted to the education and care of children under the age of nine. Owned and operated three centers in Eastern Massachusetts enrolling about 400 students. Served as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Responsible for conducting special projects in administration, planning, academic affairs,development and budgeting; administering trustee affairs; and reviewing the work ofthe President's Office and delegating it to the President's staff and other University officers.

President's deputy with overall responsibility for college administration including institutional accreditation; policy development; strategic planning; institutional research; student admission; student registration; design, selection, installation and operation of the administrative computer system; personnel; collective bargaining contract negotiation and administration; physical plant; security; and food service operations. Assumed President's duties in her absence. Also served as Executive Assiatant to President and Consultant.

Served as principal staff assistant to the Chancellor and as legislative liaison. Advised the Chancellor and Board on policy questions and insured staff compliance with Board policy and directives. Also served as Research Associate.
