The energy and professionalism of Hassell provided me with a great environment to continue to expand my skills and widen the scope of my planning experiences. From 1994 – 1997 I worked predominantly from the Adelaide office on projects such as the Regent Gardens, the Sheidow Park Master Plan and the Gawler Retail Study for Woolworths. Progression within the business was encouraged and from 1997 – 2000 I worked in Manila, Philippines, as part of the AusAID funded Philippine Regional Municipal Development Project. In this project I worked with the Department of Interior and Local Government across six regional cities. This was an exciting and rewarding experience providing opportunity to work on other private sector projects such as the 850ha Manila Bay Reclamation Master Plan, the Veteran’s Memorial Medical Centre Master Plan and a number of projects at Fort Bonifacio. -
