John is an Associate Professor, Lincoln School of Design (LSD) at the University of Lincoln. His position as Associate Professor enables John to actively promote the many benefits of design education, applied creativity and the arts to audiences both internal and external of the university - STEAM, not just STEM. He works with undergraduate and postgraduate students and academic staff in ensuring that School of Design students have the best of experiences, achieve their potential and become informed and articulate creative practitioners. He also works with academic and technical staff in extending their own teaching practice by providing a critically supportive environment, one which fosters pedagogic innovation.
