I produce videos for external and internal use, promotional, training and informative. As part of my job I collated, wrote and managed the production of the Annual Report for the financial years 2013/14 and 2014/15.Contribute to the writing and production of several internal publications and the Barwon Health social media channels. To help manage the production and distribution of media releases and the handling of all media enquiries with some need for periods of on call work.Meeting regularly with internal and external stakeholders to develop comprehensive communications plans and content.As part of my role, I also sit on our GLBTIQ and Aboriginal Health working groups, my role to help advise on making all our communication inclusive and appropriate. Barwon Health has just developed it's own GLBTIQ branding resources which are aimed at continuing to promote our inclusive practice.

I worked as a Freelance producer and presenter on News Breakfast. It also involved work as a fill in sports presenter where I produced my own content. I also produced the sports content for other fill in presenters. The work involved the putting together of packages, vision and scripts for several news stories, whilst also producing items for the show in terms of managing the logistics and the technical requirements of fixing guests at short notice. I became comfortable using I news to build program content and also using all the video editing software that was required. When presenting the sport I managed my own content in terms of scripting, cutting the pictures and interviewing guests live. The job also required live two ways and chats into the John Faine show and also into News 24 and their live rolling news service after Breakfast went off air. During my time at the ABC I also worked on OFFSIDERS cutting vision for the show of AFL, Rugby Union/League, Soccer, Cricket and any other sport that may have been required.

In my last role at BBC Wales I was the Multi Platform Project Manager for six months. It was a great role with huge challenges and developmental opportunity. I was responsible for the sports news content for BBC Wales on all platforms across two languages. I managed around twenty staff during this time to achieve the aims required. I had to manage the rota of the staff and their professional development during this time. The job involved complex planning and strategic thinking in order to cover events such as Premier League soccer, Six Nations Rugby, County and International Cricket and a whole host of other world wide sporting events. I was also responsible for the Sports News gathering operation making sure we covered all the required press conferences and led the sporting agenda for Wales. I also had responsibility for scheduling sports content on BBC Radio Wales and Radio Cymru in conjunction with other key stakeholders during this time.

In my 12 years at the BBC, I worked in a number of Broadcast production and presentation roles. My first was as researcher on the National Radio program, Good Morning Wales. This involved the planning and preproduction of guests, packages and other content for the show. The role also involved work with various phone in shows that followed later in the day. Writing complex briefs and scripts for presenters using ENPS and Radioman to edit content were the key functions of the job.Then I became a Sports Reporter for BBC Wales sport but this job encompassed so many other roles over the next ten years. As a a reporter I attended press conferences and sporting events sometimes providing live updates into programming or producing packages for all platforms. I worked specifically for a time on a TV sports news magazine program called 2W. This involved building the show run down, conducting interviews to be used as features and producing scripting and cutting the content for the key sports news summary of the day. Sometimes some of this material was incorporated into the national news evening program Wales Today. I also presented and produced the sports news bulletins for the National Radio program Good Morning Wales. And I worked on and contributed to our sports output which was known as BBC Radio Wales sport during my time there. I have presented coverage of international soccer and also done some commentary on club soccer at a Premier League and Championship level also providing updates into Final Score. I also have experience scripting, editing and putting together pod casts. Latterly I was a Bulletins Producer, this was a key role running the BBC Wales Sports Desk. I had to anticipate the press conferences, program and news gathering commitments we were faced with and in conjunction with others plan our staffing and coverage accordingly. I also attended the BBC leadership Essentials course and participated in the mentor scheme.
