My Mum was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. As her only child I became her full time caretaker until she passed 09/15/2019. This was one of the most challenging yet spiritually rewarding aspects of my life. I was forced to sell my company and fully focus on helping my Mum through the journey we call caner. While being a husband and father of three. Tomorrow is not promised for any of us. My main takeaways are; love one another regardless of past experiences, whatever you went through as a child is only because our parents are doing their best with what they know, forgive them, and support them regardless of the choices they make along the journey. Cancer is a business, it is tremendously profitable and a "cure" won't come anytime soon because it will destroy the bottom line for the medical industry and those heavily invested in disease. I am grateful for what I was shown and what I learned along the way. It takes a lot of patience to meet the expectations of the person who is ill, along with having to constantly negotiate with insurance companies. Finally F*#K cancer.
