This involved completely reinventing the recruitment processes for a role where candidates may take two years to be able to start in the organisation. • Create a redeployment model for the organisation to be able to assist employees who have been impacted by redundancies.• I am a qualified Mental Health First Aider – in this capacity I am a first point of contact if people within the organisation feel they need mental assistance.• I was heavily involved in the Diversity working group for LGBTIQA representation. Junior recruiters had limited to no experience, and I was responsible for training them to be able to work independently.• Completely overhaul and develop the interview process, interview forms, reference checks and additional templates that are used by the recruitment team.• Sourcing a 45-person project on a mine site in Mudgee in April – June 2022. Roles sourced include Supervisors, Trainer Assessors, HR Representatives and Health and Safety Officers as well as operators. This role had 1 other full-time recruiter and a part time experienced recruiter working on it.• Placing a ten-person crew into a site in the Goldfields, WA. The challenge in this role is that it is a very candidate short market. • Staffing a 12 person Coal Handling Processing Plant on a site in Middlemount, Qld. This role was challenging as the role I was sourcing, Operator Maintainers, is a highly technical skill position with few candidates.• Staffing a 40-person shut down on a mine site in Far North Queensland.
