For the past thirty five years I have served as a member of accreditation visiting teams for the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. For the past twenty years I have been the chairperson for visits throughout New England. I have led teams of as many as forty educators on these intensive peer review visits which call for a very thorough, on-site review of a school's progress in meeting the very demanding expectations outlined in the NEAS&C standards.

As an assistant superintendent of schools on the management team for the State of Connecticut Technical High Schools (seventeen comprehensive technical high schools throughout the state), I had wide and varied areas of responsibility. My major responsibilities: The development of the system's technology plan.The development, design and mass deployment of building technology infrastructure through multi-million dollar state funding projects in all schools.The establishment of technology leadership teams at all levels of the organization. The development and deployment of 21st century, technology rich pedagogy throughout the system. Developed and implemented new assessment process for school administrators. Lead negotiator for contracts. Direct oversight of five schools. Direct oversight of all skilled trade/technology programs system wide.Lead administrator for turn around efforts in under performing schools.Direct supervision of teams of central office consultants assigned to all of my assigned areas.Direct interfacing with other state agencies who had impact on our schools.
