As a Fellow, I manage research and consulting projects with a focus on climate adaptation, economics, and resource management. As Foundations Coordinator, I lead Ecologic's institutional fundraising efforts and develop strategic partnerships with international funders.Technical research & policy analysis: - Deliver projects involving climate impact and risk assessments; economic and policy assessment methods including cost-benefit analysis, multi-criteria analysis, and pathways approaches; literature reviews; quantitative analysis- Lead author on climate adaptation for European Climate Neutrality Observatory, delivered improved economic cost estimates of climate impacts in COACCH project, developed high-level assessment of needs for and costs of adaptation for European Environment Agency- Facilitate and participate in briefings with representatives of EU, national, and multilateral institutions to present research outcomes and policy recommendationsProject management & stakeholder engagement:- Develop stakeholder engagement frameworks and establish co-design research approaches for multiple research projects, including participatory workshop design,working with business, governmental, and technical stakeholders- Manage successful project and grant acquisition, develop and manage budgets and schedule, lead project teams, coordinate strategic planning, reporting and evaluation

• Developed a comprehensive system of project management practices across departments to establish company-wide standards for project management and ensure high quality project deliverables• Maintained a standard project schedule for Strata’s utility-scale solar farms throughout their life cycle, from site discovery to financial and legal closing of the project, identifying risks and mitigation strategies in the process • Created unique project plans for an increasing number of large-scale farms (20-50 MW) • Refined and improve reporting approaches used to analyze cost and performance in various departments. Assisted in building new reports for project teams, disseminating these metrics on a regular, easy-to-access basis

• Managed and trained 25 staff members, ensuring smooth running of day-to-day operations • Coordinated event planning, booking, promotions team and sound technicians, hosting some 20 shows per semester• Managed a $75,000 budget, allocating funds to artist fees, payroll, stocking, and maintenance; realized a profit of $7,800, a 55% increase over previous year

• Researched and prepared fact sheets on environmental issues covering a series of bills related to energy standards, water quality, landfills, and electric car sales• Reported on legislative committee hearings (Energy, Environment, Natural Resources, and Regulatory Reform committees), while working with legislators in preparation for key votes• Developed a vote-tracking database highlighting key legislators on environmental issues, producing a list of environmental “allies” in both the State House and Senate• Prepared media events and press releases, compiled and distributed regular media coverage of North Carolina environmental issues, contributed to Sierra Club blog. Researched and wrote high-profile analysis of a controversial sole-source contract in a water quality bill, garnering significant coverage in local and state media

• Collaborated on producing the annual report for the Environment & Security Initiative, an inter-agency effort focused on resolving security issues related to environmental problems with some 50 ongoing projects• Compiled and edited updates from project managers in 20 countries across Eastern Europe and Central Asia developing trans-boundary strategies to handle hazardous waste management, water pollution, and land degradation • Organizational support and event coordination for World Environment Day (2012 theme: Green Economy)
