Serving as the Vice Chair of the Intern Executive Board in the UVA Office of Undergraduate Admissions. In this role I have helped to develop guest service guidelines, train new interns, and map specific tour routes. The board works directly with UVA admissions counselors and deans to grow and adjust guest services in Peabody Hall. I serve on committees tasked with improving social media outreach and organizing specific admissions events such as Days on the Lawn.

In this role I have led hundreds of tours across UVA grounds, participated in virtual panels streamed to prospective students and families, and written and helped to publish numerous posts for the UVA Admissions social media pages. In my second year as an admissions intern I was promoted to Vice Chair of the Intern Board where I continue to provide administrative support and intern training for the admissions office, while also fulfilling all other responsibilities expected of admissions interns.

Worked as campaign staff for State Senator Creigh Deed’s 2023 reelection campaign. I canvassed across Senate District 11 where I knocked on over 1000 doors in support of Senator Deeds and made face to face connections with his constituents. I also helped with events featuring U.S. Representative Jennifer McClellan and Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney.

Worked as an organizing intern for Abigail Spanberger’s 2022 reelection campaign for congress in VA-07. Put together canvassing and phone banking groups around the district and helped with campaign outreach. My canvassing efforts were focused mainly in Greene County, Virginia, and I guided volunteers throughout phone banking efforts that reached out to voters across the district. I was also able to utilize my foreign language abilities in conversations with Spanish-speaking constituents, which led to increased outreach in communities throughout the district.
