I helped develop the Dual Language Program in HISD through curriculum writing and teacher training and observations. I also ensured compliance with district, state, and federal regulations regarding the instruction of ELLs.

I write and develop the curriculum for ESL for grades K-5. I also train teachers in best practices for teaching ESL.

I taught English language development for all levels of English proficiency. I was responsible for all LPAC and testing decisions as well as documentation. I also worked with the entire staff to ensure quality education for the ELLs.
