Hi, My name is John Thompson. I’m 51 years old and from the U.K.After six years with IBM as a Technical Services Specialist I re-trained as an ESL Teacher in Vietnam.I now have seven years of experience teaching ESL in Vietnam. To date I have taught in the Da Nang University of Economics, FPT University, vocational colleges, kindergarten, public primary and secondary schools and various private English Centres all around Vietnam. I have experience of teaching all ages of students and also IELTS & FCE Speaking for Active (one to one) Learning.I also edit and proofread English articles and documents for Vietnamese and Chinese organisations and companies.I am generally fit and healthy as I cycle everywhere (even when relocating on occasion) and I have a keen interest in documenting local life through photography.
