With over 20 years of experience in training and curriculum development, I am a passionate and skilled Training Manager for the Federal Protective Service, a division of the Department of Homeland Security. My mission is to ensure that the Emergency Dispatchers who serve and protect our federal facilities and personnel are well-trained, competent, and confident. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have a background in law enforcement, communications, and public safety. I value collaboration, innovation, and excellence, and I strive to align my goals with the organization's vision and culture.As the Training Manager, I oversee the training activities for new Call-Takers and Dispatchers from hire through training and probation. I supervise Communications Training Officers, manage program resources and assignments, and develop, implement, and facilitate training plans, lessons, course objectives, and tests. I also maintain training records, compile continuing education requirements, and prepare reports and proposals. I leverage my skills in training facilitation, class facilitation, and public trust to ensure that the training program meets the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
