I am a Producer and my job is to get things done.We are a small studio and my job is whatever it takes to keep projects moving and keep artists on billable hours. What this means in practice on any given day I can be:- an art buyer- an art director- an estimator- an IT troubleshooter- a project manager- a producer- a production coordinator- a quality assurance reviewer- an educator- a cheerleader- a therapistI am most proud of helping to build a sense of teamwork and camaraderie among the 2D & 3D artists of my department, especially the artists who work offsite. It is SO important in a Creative Production department like mine that there is a sense of teamwork and mutual respect among the artists and producers. Working on creative projects is very complicated and no one person has all the answers. I've invested a tremendous amount of my energy in inculcating such a teamwork culture in my studio.
