• Manage faculty recruitment for all 10 schools that comprise the George Washington University. • Review faculty position announcements and ensure all faculty job postings adhere to University recruitment policy.• Facilitate the hiring and on-boarding of all new full-time, visiting, and research faculty.

• Serve as the direct liaison between the Office of the Provost and the academic departments and programs, and research centers and institutes that comprises the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences.• Maintain personnel records of full-time, visiting, and research faculty.• Oversee the annual faculty merit process.• Administer the tenure, mid-tenure review, and promotion processes within CCAS.• Oversee full-time faculty recruitment efforts and review faculty position announcements to ensure adherence to University Policy.• Facilitate the hiring and on-boarding of new full-time faculty members.• Provide faculty recruitment training for CCAS department administrative staff.• Handle changes to faculty personnel records, including changes to annual salary, distribution of orgs charged for salary, leave of absence status, resignation, retirement, and termination.• Coordinate the annual faculty sabbatical process.• Manage annual contract faculty renewals.• Facilitate the transition of administrative appointments/stipends within CCAS Departments and Programs on an annual basis.• Provide support to faculty, department chairs and program directors, and deans for all phases of the faculty annual reporting process.

Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Department Chairs to manage departmental finances. Process vendor requisitions and payments. Create class schedules and room assignments for upcoming semesters. Process and archive student documents in order to maintain accurate records. Supervise student workers. Manage and approve departmental time-keeping. Maintain department websites. Coordinate department events. Procure and manage office supplies.
