Embedded Systems Have established a well-proven track record of as software architect and developer of embedded controllers including two STB’s (Polaroid and Electric Mirror) and (18) data interface controllers including SCSI, IEEE-488, VXI, RS-232, ARINC-429, and vendor proprietary buses. In all cases, I had sole responsibility for the firmware including defining all controller functions, writing all code including the controller's operating system, testing and debugging all firmware, . Verification Engineering Broad range of experience in ASIC verification engineering in VHDL and Verilog at both the RTL and gate level. Wrote both directed test programs and random test scripts. Analyzed code coverage reports and generated special tests to increase coverage. Developed standardized start up logic and exception handling procedures for test benches. Wrote specialized (C++ and Perl) programs for test bench such as memory loaders etc. Wrote specialized (assembly language) test programs for memory timing evaluation of a RISC cached-memory architecture.
