Associated Physicians Group (APG) is a health care practice focused on improving patients’ quality of life. The integrated approach combines the expertise of internal medicine, interventional pain management, physical therapy, high-tech rehabilitation equipment, and chiropractic medicine. APG has 5 area locations and has treated over 58,000 patients.• Founded APG in 1993 under the name of Industrial & Sport Rehabilitation, LTD. In 1997 added additional services and physicians resulting in ten-fold revenue increase. The company was later renamed Associated Physicians Group (APG) and has experienced consistent growth, geographic expansion, and superior patient outcomes for the last 20 years. • Developed a proprietary program for the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee. The “Alternative to Knee Replacement” program has an 87% success rate based on the results of more than 8,000 patients over a five-year period. The program was granted a patent in 2017. As a partner with the Osteoarthritis Centers of America, trained over 60 orthopedic and pain management practices on the program. • Implemented a robust opioid program throughout APG. Developed and refined risk assessment, screening, testing, and prescribing protocols to combat the opioid epidemic. Partnered and shared program with numerous local hospitals.

USIB was an entity created to decrease workmen's compensation claims and prevent lost time incidents which ultimately decreased worker's compensation cost and premiums. The annually renewable contract with Exxon/Mobile provided these services in two local coalmines owned by their mining division. This program we developed was later reproduced in other Exxon/Mobile sites in Australia and throughout their mining division. While we dramatically decreased worker's compensation overhead and OSHA recordables, our local mines closed due to cost prohibitive regulations.
