Organizational Leadership - In collaboration with the Co-Executive Director of People Operations - co-facilitate design and implementation process for leadership circle to review finances, fundraising, and overall organizational strategy.Steward a Culture of Philanthropy - Co-facilitate design and implementation process with Co-Executive Director, Director of Donor Engagement, and Director of Institutional Relations to ensure alignment, ongoing strategy management, and organization wide engagement around a culture of philanthropy. Financial Management and Review - With the Director of Finance, facilitate the design and implementation process that ensures thorough management and review of financial processes and information to ensure ongoing security.Board Management - Co-facilitate design and implementation process for board management and engagement with the Chair of the Board of Trustees. Meet periodically with both the Chair Vice Chair, and Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees to review updates and strategy.

Program impact & strategy - maintain broad and deep knowledge of our work by directly overseeing management of both regions (youth, food, community) ensuring consistent, high quality programs, and identified metrics. Organizational building and effectiveness - ensure clear and efficient feedback loops for all staff and departments, engage in research and facilitate evaluation of our work, lead annual planning and performance, and board engagement.External relationships and policy engagement - build and maintain strong institutional relationships in communities where we operate and among regional, national food systems stakeholders and institutions. Conduct annual winter and summer institutes to share information about The Food Project's model. Fellowships - facilitate the development of and manage The Food Project's fellowship program for post high school graduate alumni.

North Shore - Lynn, Wenham

Implement programs in youth, food, community at the regional level based on overall organizational strategy. Work closely with Director of Learning and Design and Greater Boston Regional Director to ensure high performance, leverage strengths, and align regions. Manage a regional team consisting of 2 Youth Development Specialists, Community Programs Manager, 2 Farm Managers, and a High Meadows Fellow.Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with local residents and organizations in the North Shore region - with a particular focus on Lynn and Wenham.

North Shore (Lynn, Ma)

Provided support, guidance and overall management of TFP's youth (Seed, Dirt and Root) and community programs in the North Shore. Built, developed and strengthened community relationships and intentional and meaningful partnerships for positive food system change. Collaborated with Greater Boston TFP staff around implementation of Strategic Plan and organizational decision making. Managed operations focused on communication across departments, task management, accountability, and transparency in decision making process. Managed, supervised and mentored a diverse team of two AmeriCorps members and four seasonal staff each year. Facilitated weekly meetings with North Shore staff members to ensure needs and support throughout the region are met through our development, agricultural and community programs. Managed a Programs budget of over $200,000.

Greater Boston (Dorchester, Ma) And North Shore (Lynn, Ma)

Developed and delivered workshops on team building, facilitation, and community engagement with a focus on the food system. Maintained a safe and productive space for young people. Managed key partnerships with universities, non-profit organizations and other community based groups throughout the Greater Boston and North Shore sites. Managed, supervised and mentored a diverse team of two AmeriCorps members and three seasonal staff each year. Facilitated weekly meetings with North Shore and Greater Boston staff members to ensure youth needs and support were met through our development, agricultural and community programs. Created and implemented an experiential learning model and curriculum to mobilize external community members to advocate for positive personal and policy change in the food system that have engaged 1,500 community members annually. Managed an Intern Program budget of over $200,000.

North Shore (Lynn, Ma)

Delivered workshops on team building, public speaking, leadership, job readiness, and social issues affecting our communities. Maintained a safe and productive space for young people in the Seed, Dirt and Root programs. Recruited, managed and mentored a diverse team of three seasonal college aged staff and one program administrator each year. Facilitated meetings with North Shore staff members to ensure youth needs and support were met through our development, agricultural and community programs. Managed a Summer Youth Program and Academic Year Program budget of over $125,000.

San Diego

Assisted with the UCSD Youth HIV/AIDS council in San Diego to implement HIV/AIDS preventative programs at Boys and Girls Clubs throughout the city. Assisted Case Managers with clients and supported the Development Department with grant applications.

Seattle

Worked with a diverse team of 17-24 year olds, tutoring and mentoring underserved middle school students to promote self-esteem, community awareness, and an ethic of voluntary service. Developed a free, safe, fun and educational service-learning program to engage middle school aged youth in large-scale, high impact projects. Participated in Leadership Development and Diversity workshop trainings. Solicited over $10,000 in donations for a free, two-week long, Spring Break Camp that promoted cultural awareness for over 500 Seattle youth.
