  Currently Quality Manager with one of the largest providers of Apprenticeships in the UK. Responsible for the management and development of the quality framework, self-assessment and quality improvement, as well as fulfilling the role of DSL. Previous experience as an associate inspector with TSC, ALI and Ofsted, inspecting FE, WBL and HMP provision. CITB was recently judged to Outstanding by Ofsted, making it one of the very few providers to be awarded this grade under two inspection frameworks. As well as being the Quality Manager, I also fulfilled the role of nominee at both of these inspections. Important recent developments include;1. Development and introduction of a revised learning walk programme, effectively designed to measure the impact of teaching on learning and progress.2. Development of a new learning and development plan, designed to meet the demands of the new apprenticeship reforms by fully planning and coordinating on and off-the-job learning. 3. Design and implementation of an at-risk learners strategy, based on risk assessment and intervention. 4. Development of a new internal review framework, designed to train and develop staff in providing an effective peer review programme.
