Overview Lead a team of up to 100 Emergency & Metering engineers comprising of both direct and contract labour through a team of 4 Emergency Supervisors. Ensure effective use of stagger patterns and call-out arrangements to deliver a 365 / 24 / 7 Emergency & Metering Service.Ensure engagement with various stakeholders including National Grid Metering, Trade Unions, Resource Management, and Dispatch to maximise productivity and efficiency within the current Field Force terms and conditions.I have worked on numerous projects and these have always been delivered to a high standard. These includeWinter Planning- where I developed the fore-runner of the current planning model to identify the timings of when our resources would be required to enable forward planning and mobilization dates to be given in advance. GDFO implementation- Took lead role on the NW Go live and ensured effective communication between all affected parties, including Dispatch, Resource Management, Manpower Management, Process teams and Operations at various levels.Incident Management- Contributed to the effective on site management and control of several significant supply incidents Working time Solutions - Developed and implemented new working patterns through effective negotiations with the Trade Union.Embed New Terms and conditions under both Go21 (2007) and the current T&Cs (2012) including the new incentive mechanism. Achieved a positive swing on the Employee Engagement score in last year’s employee opinion survey also organised a highly successful team event which generated £2700 for our chosen charity.Worked on various company projects- These include• One company restructure and development of the terms of reference and RACI Documents.• EM72 Policy Review• National (D0F) pay and reward mechanisms • Team Talk Delivery & improved engagement developing the new process• Skills and Competence Lean Event• Initial rollout of OSGEM (On Site Gas Escape Management)
