This position is a follow on to my previous employment. Subsequent to the contract changeover I am now on the TOSC contract performing the same software engineering duties as my previous job. This includes new software development as well as sustainment of existing mission critical systems for NASA at the Kennedy Space Center.

Position uses C/C++ to record and retrieve real time data used by NASA in the launch control firing rooms. Java as well as various web development tools are also used.

Developed real time monitoring and control software in support of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty. Software includes various digital signal processing and filtering techniques, embedded applications, TCP/IP and serial communications. Extensively used the Matlab/Octave environment for the development of bench-test software. Worked with C/C++, Perl, and TCL/Tk languages as well as developed Postgres database applications.

Developed acoustic detector technology for AFTAC and integrated into the Detection and Feature Extraction (DFX) software currently in use by the National Data Center. Developed ground penetrating RADAR software. Worked on various aspects of the regional sensor arrays project, (ISAI). Developed software to communicate with existing ISAI array digitizers and seismic sensors using both synchronous and asynchronous protocol methods. Used JavaScript and various web development tools.

Responsible for design, modification, and support of real-time software in a networked environment. The software uses mathematical filtering techniques and vector processing to perform acquisition and tracking of vehicles launched from the Cape. This position required UNIX and VAX/VMS system management duties as well as giving lectures and briefings to coworkers and customers.
