I’m John West. Licensed therapist, musician, parent, husband, west coast expat, southerner, and fellow human. Welcome 🙏🏼🙏🏽Like the clients I love working with, I consider myself complex, creative, and on my own healing journey through the ups and downs of modern life. I am grateful that my work as a therapist allow me to resonate and vibe with other humans (for a living, no less). It’s a privilege to do this each day.I grew up in southern Louisiana, and throughout my twenties I worked as a full-time singer-songwriter, street performer, and dreamer in Los Angeles.I’ve always viewed art as a service - a healing experience: both for the creator of the art and for the audiences who are moved by the work. In that sense, I’ve been in the same line of work for twenty years ;-)
