Asia/ Pacific Account/Sales Executive at Ovum (January 2006-October 2011) Solution Selling IT by consulting with them to find out their business needs, then matching these needs with the Ovum group IT research reports and information within the CIO Knowledge Centres and Analyst advisors.I have won several Salesman of the month awards and was the highest sales revenue earner in my team.The work requires Account Management to maintain existing clients, research for new companies, New Business Development and sales skills and industry and product knowledge and is mainly done by telephone and email but also face to face contact with clients.These clients are throughout Asia Pacific region and I specialised in the Energy and utilities industry as well as a cross section of other industries.I also sold conferences attendance to clients and managed our 2009 Masterclass event Australian Roadshow in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Canberra.

I worked at Marcus Evans Australia as a Senior Sales executive, selling business intelligence workshops/conferences to business leaders across various industries and functions including Marketing, IT, Risk Management, Call Centres etc.This work involves researching the product and the relevant industries/businesses for sales leads then using telephone sales to corporate customers to generate and close the sales. In the time I have been in this role I have been promoted to Senior Sales Executive and achieved the Salesman of the Month award on four occasions.
