Assist Principal Investigator in research of stable isotope analysis for projects in Prince William Sound and Prudhoe Bay. Assist on specific projects for the Sound Ecosystem Assessment funded by the Exxon Valdez oil Spill Trustee Council and GLOBEC. Prepare biological samples for chemical analysis. Oceanographic and fisheries research cruises. Collect samples of fish, copepods, invertebrates through plankton tows, longlining, scallop dredges and trawl surveys in the field and prepare for analysis. Maintain records. Responsible for maintenance of lab facility. Ensure all required safety procedures followed. Assist with implementing "From the Forest to the Sea" summer camp program as part of environmental outreach program.
